• Lake County Information Technology (IT) is seeking professional services to assist in strengthening Lake County’s security posture.
• A Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued to identify a qualified firm for consulting services to complete internal and external vulnerability assessments.
• Lake County extended requests to 50 vendors and received five proposals.
• A review committee comprised of staff from IT, Risk, County Administrators Office, Health Department, Courts, and Purchasing determined that the proposal submitted by Crowe Horwath LLP is the most qualified and favorable proposal for Lake County.
• The resolution authorizes a one year agreement in the amount not to exceed $120,000.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication of Vulnerability Assessment; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, request for proposals were extended to 50 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received from five non-local vendors and opened at the Lake County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on June 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Evaluation Criteria as established in the Request for Proposal, the review committee determined that the proposal submitted by Crowe Horwath LLP for Vulnerability Assessment is the most qualified and favorable proposal for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with Crowe Horwath LLP for Vulnerability Assessment in the amount of $120,000, charging to account 101-1102050-84030-000-000-000-11013.
