RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the ICJIA has announced the continuation of the State's Attorney's Prosecutor Based Victim Services program, with a 12 month renewal that includes $61,553 in federal funds to provide advocacy services to victims of domestic violence, elder abuse and aggravated battery during the period October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016; and

WHEREAS, the grant program will fund 94 percent of the salary and benefits for a full time Victim Witness Coordinator in the Domestic Division, and is comprised of $61,553 in federal funds, a required match of $15,388, for a program total of $76,941; and

WHEREAS, the grant renewal must be formally accepted by Lake County.
