* This County Board, at its meeting of April 14, 2015, approved $225,000 of 1/4% Sales Tax for Transportation funds for the necessary right-of-way and sidewalk construction, on the west side of Ela Road, south of U.S. Route 12, and on the east side of Ela Road, from north of U.S. Route 12 to Illinois Route 22, and designated as Section 14-00144-19-SW.
* The Ela Road resurfacing improvement will be combined with the previously approved sidewalk construction for a single construction letting, and will be designated as Section 15-00144-21-RS.
* Before a project letting can be held, an appropriation of $780,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds is necessary for the resurfacing.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Ela Road, County Highway 60, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the motoring public if Ela Road, from Illinois Route 22 to Cuba Road, could be improved by resurfacing; and
WHEREAS, this County Board, at its meeting of April 14, 2015, approved an appropriation of $225,000 of 1/4% Sales Tax for Transportation funds for the necessary right-of-way and the construction of a sidewalk on the west side of Ela Road, south of U.S. Route 12, and on the east side of Ela Road, from north of U.S. Route 12 to Illinois Route 22, and designated as Section 14-00144-19-SW; and
WHEREAS, the resurfacing and sidewalk construction will be combined to a single construction letting, and designated as Section 15-00144-21-RS; and
