RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Office of the Illinois Attorney General has approved the continuation of the State's Attorney's Violent Crime Victims Assistance Program, and $31,000 was awarded for the time period July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016; and

WHEREAS, the grant funds of $31,000 for this program will supplement the salary of a full time Domestic Violence Coordinator; and

WHEREAS, funds have already been appropriated in the FY 2015 budget for this Program; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois that the Lake County State's Attorney's Violent Crime Victims Assistance Program with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General is hereby authorized; and
