R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the resurfacing of Grass Lake Road, from east of Grass Lake Bridge to Illinois Route 59, and designated as Section 14-00059-09-RS; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication calling for said bid, sealed bids were received and opened on June 23, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Payne & Dolan, Inc., Kenosha, Wisconsin, their bid being $1,723,182.93 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board, by prior resolution at its meeting of May 12, 2015, appropriated $2,130,000 of Matching Tax funds and $425,000 of County Bridge Tax funds for the r...
