* Washington Street, from Hainesville Road to Haryan Way, will be improved by reconstruction and widening from two lanes to five lanes, new traffic signals at Hainesville Road, new/replaced sidewalk and multiuse path, sanitary sewer lift station, water and sanitary sewer replacements, drainage improvements and other related construction activities.
* The Villages of Hainesville, Round Lake Park and Grayslake, as well as Avon Township will have jurisdiction and future maintenance responsibilities for portions of the multiuse path and the sidewalk.
* This improvement is included in the Division of Transportation's improvement program.
* A total of two bids were received, ranging from $12,474,026.09 to $13,649,827.13, and the lowest responsible bidder is Berger Excavating Contractors, Wauconda, Illinois, with a contract amount of $12,474,026.09.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the improvement of Washington Street, from Hainesville Road to Haryan Way, and designated as Section 11-00121-10-WR; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication calling for said bid, sealed bids were received and opened on May 19, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:
