RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called the County Boardroom Audio System Upgrade; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, an Invitation to Bid was extended to 19 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from three non-local vendors and opened at the Lake County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on April 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to upgrade the audio system in the County Boardroom, which is used to broadcast meetings on LCTV, from analog to digital; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Invitation to Bid; the staff evaluated the bid submittals and determined that the bid submitted by IVCi, Hauppauge, New York, in the amount of $56,143.63, is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder that best meets the needs of the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with IVCi, Hauppauge, New York, for the County Board Audio System Upgrade in the amount of $56,143.63, charging to account # 101-1102050-84035-000-000-0...
