R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, this County Board on November 8, 2011, authorized the execution of a joint agreement with the State of Illinois for funding the IDOT realignment and widening of US Route 45, from two to four lanes at the Millburn Road/Grass Lake Road intersection in the vicinity of the Millburn Historic District, with an expiration date of August 3, 2015, and appropriated $34,000,000 for this improvement; and

WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County are desirous of entering into an addendum to the agreement for IDOT's implementation of the above-said improvement with a new expiration date of August 3, 2018, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County be authorized and they are directed to execute an addendum to said agreement pertaining to funding the IDOT...
