R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County) owns and operates sanitary sewer systems, including the Des Plaines River Water Reclamation Facility, that serves the Village of Kildeer (Village) within the Southeast Lake Facilities Planning Area; and
WHEREAS, the County and the Village have entered into Agreement in which the County has assumed ownership and operation of the Village's collection system; and
WHEREAS, as a condition of the Agreement, the County has agreed to bid and construct sewers to reroute a portion of the Village of Kildeer flows from Lake Zurich's collection system directly to the County collection system; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for the Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, invitations to bid were extended to fifteen (15) contractors; and
WHEREAS, five (5) sealed bids were received and publicly opened in the office of the Lake County Public Works Department on Tuesday, April 13, 2015, at 2:00 p.m.; and
