* An invitation for bid was developed and reviewed by the Information Technology Department.
* The bid was sent to seven vendors and a bid was received from one vendor.
* Following a review of the submitted bid, the bid submitted by First Communications was identified as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Lake County.
* The contract is for an initial two year term with three, one year renewals in an estimated annual amount of $39,051.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for Land-Line, ISDN-PRI Services; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to provide Land Line ISDN-PRI Services for connection to the public telephone network; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, invitation for bids were extended to seven vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from one vendor and opened in the Lake County Administrative Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on February 19, 2015, at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, the bid submitted by First Communications, Lombard, Illinois, is lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with First Communications, Lombard, Illinois in the estimated annual amount of $39,051 for Land-Line, ISDN-PRI Services ...
