R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation has jurisdiction over various street name signs located within the Village of Long Grove; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Long Grove desires to install and maintain Village owned street name signs at the intersections of County highways and public streets within the Village limits; and

WHEREAS, this installation will be beneficial to the Village of Long Grove and Lake County as a whole; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Long Grove and Lake County are desirous of entering into a master agreement pertaining to the installation of said street name signs, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized, and they are directed to execute a master agreement pertaining to the installation, operation and maintenance of Village owned street name signs at the intersections of County highways and public streets within the Village limits.
