Environmental Health Advisory Committee Appointment - Pfister

Population Health Services (PHS) has recruited one new member for the Environmental Health Advisory Committee (EHAC) due to the resignation of Jim Dingman. PHS has received concurrence from EHAC as to the need to have a food safety professional that practices in Lake County and the State of Illinois to be appointed by the Board of Health. EHAC has recommended Heather Anderson who is the President of Food Safety & Environmental Solutions LLC, located in Wauconda Illinois. Heather Anderson is a certified instructor in accordance with the National Environmental Health Association and Illinois Department of Public Health regulations for Food Manager Certification and Food Handler training. She has held these certifications for over 10 years.
Suggested Motion
To approve the appointment of Heather Anderson to the Environmental Health Advisory Committee for a three year term, as stipulated in the Board of Health Bylaws.
