The Department of Human Services, SFY15 Substance Abuse Prevention Program (SAPP) Grant Award was increased by $35,277 for the period of July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. The amount requested to be appropriated in LCFY15 is $35,277. These funds are for implementing a communication campaign. Non-salary expenses will be for advertising, printing, and travel.
The Illinois Public Health Association, FY14-15 HIV Prevention Grant Award was increased by $25,000 for the period of January 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. The amount requested to be appropriated in LCFY15 is $25,000. These funds offset existing staff.
Suggested Motion
To accept the additional funding of $60,277 from the Department of Human Services and the Illinois Public Health Association. If deemed necessary, to authorize the Executive Director to execute an emergency appropriation or line item transfer to allow for expenditure of these funds for enhanced programming in Population Health Services.
