Staff Summary
· During the codification process, minor changes to restructure sections, correct errors, or clarify language were made and have been adopted under resolution 15-0112.
· This resolution seeks approval to make minor substantive changes to selected chapters of the Lake County Code of Ordinances to provide consistency among the codified chapters, to reflect current practice and/or to add clarity.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Board has approved the codification of the County's ordinances into the Lake County Code of Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the State's Attorney's Office is proposing amendments to Chapter 31 (Exhibit A) of the Lake County Code of Ordinances that clarify the establishment of the Work Force Investment Board and Housing and Community Development Commission ; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County Health Department is proposing amendments to Chapters 114 (Exhibit B) of the Lake County Code of Ordinances, to be consistent with current practice for inspections for massage therapy establishments: and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendments are made in conjunction with the codification initiative of the County and in accordance with related County Ordinances; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the amendments to referenced Lake County Code of Ordinances sections herein identified, and as set forth on Exhibit A and B attached hereto, be approved and made a matter of Lake County law.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that these amendments shall be fully incorporated into the Lake County Code of Ordinances and take effect upon approval by the Lake County Board.
