* The Route 120 Reservoir, which is a key component of the Wildwood water system, requires additional water storage volume to provide increased reliability and backup in case of loss of water supply from CLCJAWA.
* This project proposes increasing the volume of the cast-in-place concrete reservoir from 750,000 gallons to 1,500,000 gallons.
* In accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, the recommended firm is RHMG Engineers, Inc. of Mundelein, Illinois.
* This resolution authorizes execution of a professional services agreement with RHMG Engineers, Inc. of Mundelein, Illinois, in the amount of $145,656.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County) owns, operates and maintains several water systems which include water mains, pump stations and water storage reservoirs and tanks; and
WHEREAS, the Route 120 reservoir, in the Wildwood water system, is in need of additional storage volume to provide increased reliability and backup should there be a disruption in the CLCJAWA water supply; and
WHEREAS, due to the specialized nature of this project, the County requires design related services from an engineering firm qualified in this type of engineering; and
WHEREAS, RHMG Engineers, Inc. is qualified to provide the specialized design related services for this project in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.; and
WHEREAS, execution of an Agreement for Professional Services must be authorized by Resolution of this County Board.
