· Avon Township was awarded $100,000 in 2013 CDBG funds for the reconstruction of Stubb and Oak streets.
· Avon Township is requesting that HCDC approve an amendment to its 2013 CDBG Public Infrastructure agreement

· Avon Township is requesting to reduce the scope of the project from including Stubb and Oak Streets to a section Stubb Ave only.
o The new budget is reduced from $365,000 to $201,000 and the new leverage amount changes from 72.5% to 50 %
o The reduction in concentrated to a section of Stub Ave where the construction will have the greatest impact and where 20 residents reside. The eliminated portion of Stubb only has 2 residences.
o Had the project as written been compared to other public infrastructure applications in 2013 it would have scored higher than the original project from 70.5 to 76.5 points.
· Avon Township is unable to complete the project as designed for several reasons:
o The project was delayed due to political change in township and re-prioritization of goals.
o The work request on Stubb Ave has expanded to include drainage fixes, sidewalk and curb construction, storm sewer and road reconstruction
o Reduction in available reserve funds due to harsh winter.
