WHEREAS, Member Joan Miceli as a member of the Slocum Drainage District has resigned; and

WHEREAS, the resignation of Member Joan Miceli creates a vacancy on the Slocum Drainage District; and

WHEREAS, your chairman requests that this County Board confirm the appointment of Michael Martin-Johnston as a member of the Slocum Drainage District to complete the remaining term of this vacancy.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that Michael Martin-Johnston as a member of the Slocum Drainage District for a term ending September 6, 2016 be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
