Staff Summary
· The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration has provided a supplemental award for the Lake-McHenry Veteran's and Family Strategic Initiative in the amount of $13,823 for the period of September 30, 2014 through September 29, 2015.
· These funds will be used to provide program support staffing in the final grant year.
Body
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center has been awarded grant increases delivered by our Behavioral Health Service Area; and
WHEREAS, these dollars will provide a legitimate increase in services to Lake County with no impact on local taxes; and
WHEREAS, this grant amount totaling $13,823 has not been previously appropriated, having been awarded after adoption of the Fiscal Year 2015 budget; and
WHEREAS, the proposed appropriation will be fully offset by the above referenced items thereby not requiring the expenditure of local tax revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $13,823 is hereby authorized in the Health Department budget as identified on the listing of expense and revenue budget modifications attached hereto and made part hereof; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the revenue budgets as identified on the attached listing be modified as provided by increased funding from the following:
· Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration - Lake-McHenry Veterans and Family Strategic Initiative, $13,823.
