R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, non-motorized travel on the County highway system affects the safety and welfare of the motoring public; and

WHEREAS, non-motorized travel on the County highway system is increasing as the County becomes more urbanized; and

WHEREAS, Hunt Club Road, County Highway 29, is a designated route on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, the 2010 Non-Motorized Travel Study included a Gap Analysis that identified a gap in the municipal sidewalk system along the east side of Hunt Club Road, from Grand Avenue to West Brook Lane; and

WHEREAS, this County Board, at its meeting of July 9, 2013, appropriated $115,000 of 1/4% Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds for this improvement; and
