R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sand Lake Road, County Highway 74, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Sand Lake Road, from Illinois Route 132 to US Route 45, could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed, and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $890,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the resurfacing of Sand Lake Road, from Illinois Route 132 to US Route 45, and designated as Section 13-00159-08-RS.
