Staff Summary
· Annually, the County approves a worksite agreement with various organizations that will provide summer youth employment as part of the Lake County Summer Youth Employment Program.
· The worksite agreement outlines the responsibilities of the participating summer worksites and Lake County.
· This agreement will be entered into with 30 to 35 organizations that will participate in this program.
· The joint resolution authorizes the County Board Chairman or his designee to sign the agreements.
Body
WHEREAS it is necessary to enter into a worksite agreement with various organizations to provide summer youth employment work positions for the Lake County 2014 Summer Youth Employment Program; and
WHEREAS in order to execute these agreements it is necessary for the Chairman of the County Board or their designee to sign these agreements; and
WHEREAS these agreements outline the responsibilities of the summer worksites and the County of Lake.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Chairman of the County Board or their designee is hereby authorized to execute the 2014 Summer Youth Employment Worksite Agreement with various organizations.
