R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board and the Antioch Township Road District Highway Commissioner, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for pulverization of existing pavement and the addition of Hot-Mix Asphalt binder and Hot-Mix Asphalt surface courses on Pederson Lane and Winsor Dalgaard Jr. Road in the Antioch Township Road District, and designated as Section 14-01156-01-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on March 18, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois, a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Payne & Dolan, Inc., Kenosha, Wisconsin, their bid being $145,357.05, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
