R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for the Upgrade to the HVAC for the Public Works Administration Building; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, an invitation to bid was extended to 20 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from 3 vendors and opened in the office of the Public Works Department in Libertyville on Tuesday, March 11, 2014; at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Invitation to Bid; the staff evaluated all bid submittals and determined that the bid submitted by Northern Air Systems, Inc. of Grayslake, Illinois is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who best meets the needs of the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Northern Air Systems, Inc., Grayslake, Illinois, for the upgrade to the HVAC for the Public Works Administration Building in the amount of $46,320.00, charged to account 610-4887710-85060-00...
