R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the LCDOT is a licensed user of the CARS; and
WHEREAS, the LCDOT has held said license from 2004 until the present; and
WHEREAS, the CARS is used extensively for capacity analysis of intersections to assist in the planning and decision process for future transportation improvements; and
WHEREAS, Lake County is desirous of entering into a contract with PTV America, Inc., Portland, Oregon, for the maintenance and support of the CARS for the four year period beginning August 1, 2012, through July 31, 2016; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of $26,000 of Matching Tax funds is required for the four year maintenance and support agreement beginning August 1, 2012, through July 31, 2016, a draft copy attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY this Lake County Board, that the Acting County Engineer of Lake County be authorized and is hereby directed to execute an agreement with PTV America, Inc., Portland, Oregon, for the maintenance and support of the LCDOT’s CARS for the four year period beginning August 1, 2012, through July 31, 2016.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there is hereby appropriated $26,000 of Matching Tax funds for this agreement, and designated as Section 12-00000-14-EG.
