· Lake County desires to enter into a one-year contract, with renewal options, with Intellitime Systems Corporation, Santa Ana, CA for time clock hardware and application software.
· The current time clock hardware is no longer supported and does not interface effectively with the County’s Oracle time and labor systems.
· Request for proposals were sent to 20 vendor with four firms submitting responses.
· An ad hoc committee selected Intellitime Systems Corporation, Santa Ana, CA based upon their ability to fully meet the needs of all County departments and integrate with Oracle.
· Funding in the amount of $105,000 was allocated as part of the 2012 budget and the remaining funds will be requested as part of the 2013 budget process.
· This resolution authorizes the Purchasing Agent to enter into a contract with Intellitime Systems Corporation, contingent upon final 2013 budget approval by the County Board, in the amount of $329,369.

WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for Time Clock Hardware and Application Software; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, request for proposals were extended to 20 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received from four vendors and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on December 28, 2011, at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals, an Evaluation Committee selected Intellitime Systems Corporation, Santa Ana, CA, to be in the best interest of Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for a one year period plus renewal ...
