Staff Summary
·      Lake County Public Works operates and maintains over 150 water and wastewater facilities, arranged into three regions, across the County.

·      The Department has created a master plan, which details necessary improvements to bring a SCADA system online and provide monitoring and data acquisition electronically.
·      The implementation of the master plan will be a multiyear, multiphase project costing approximately $1,800,000.
·      Phase I of the project, which will involve the installation of radios, antennas, towers and the associated electrical upgrades at approximately 60 facilities, is ready to be bid and is anticipated to cost approximately $75,000.
·      Design work for phase II is underway, with phase III set to begin 2013.
