· Wadsworth Road will be widened from the Des Plaines River eastward to east of the entrance of St. Patrick's Church.
· Before a construction letting can be held an appropriation of $2,225,500 of Matching Tax funds and $1,159,500 of Motor Fuel Tax Funds is required.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Wadsworth Road, County Highway 17, is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, the free flow of traffic along Wadsworth Road in downtown Wadsworth is beneficial to the safety and welfare to the State of Illinois and the county as a whole; and
WHEREAS, Lake County believes it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Wadsworth Road in downtown Wadsworth could be improved by widening and resurfacing; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of cost for this improvement have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board that there is hereby appropriated $2,225,500 of Matching Tax funds and $1,159,500 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the Wadsworth Road improvement from the Des Plaines River to 800' west of Northwoods Road and designated as Section 01-00033-10-ES.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appropriation be processed by the County Engineer for final approval of the Illinois Department of Transportation in accordance with the "Agreement of Understanding" between the Illinois Department of Transportation and Lake County, dated January 22, 2003.
