· The original appropriation of $270,000 of Matching Tax funds needs to be supplemented by $75,000 to cover Change Order No. 2.

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, this Lake County Board at its meeting of June 16, 2009, appropriated $270,000 of Matching Tax funds for the Phase II design engineering services for the Wadsworth Road reconstruction in downtown Wadsworth; and

WHEREAS, additional design engineering services are required to produce the final plans specifications and estimate for this improvement for reduction in pavement width, elimination of bike lanes, shifting and aligning sidewalk edges, and other design work for this proposed improvement as refined; and

WHEREAS, a supplemental appropriation of funds is necessary for the design engineering for the above described change of above-said improvement; and

WHEREAS, the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance requires the Public Works and Transportation Committee and the Finance and Administrative Committee to approve change orders with cumulative totals above 10% of the original contract.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a supplemental appropriation of $75,000 of Matching Tax Funds is hereby authorized for the design engineering of the Wadsworth Road reconstruction in downtown Wadsworth and designated as Section 01-00033-10-ES.
