· This resolution authorizes the execution of a professional services agreement with ECS Midwest, LLC, Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and appropriates $85,000 of Matching Tax funds for these services.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, annually, during the construction season, oversees highway construction and maintenance projects worth tens of millions of dollars; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable that a firm be employed to provide additional professional engineering services for material inspections on said projects; and
WHEREAS, in order to acquire necessary professional engineering services, an appropriation of funds are required for this fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm, ECS Midwest, LLC, Buffalo Grove, Illinois, in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, for said materials inspections.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board, that ECS Midwest, LLC, Buffalo Grove, Illinois, be employed to provide professional engineering services for the materials inspections, and that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk and the County Engineer of Lake Co...
