R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Midlothian Road, County Highway 48, is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, proposes to place the Prairie Crossing Bike Path along Midlothian Road from Hawley Street northward to Casey Road; and
WHEREAS, stage three of the construction of the Prairie Crossing Bike Path is from IL Rte 176 northward to Peterson Road in 3 separate segments; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide for this improvement, the County requires a right-of-entry onto the Mundelein Park and Recreation District owned property to construct three interconnecting segments of the bike path; and
WHEREAS, the Mundelein Park and Recreation District and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement stating the terms and conditions for the construction and maintenance of the third stage of said bike path, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
