· This resolution designates the frontage road name as Old Rollins Road.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Rollins Road, County Highway 31, east of Wilson Road, County Highway 7, has been reconstructed and realigned; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the existing Rollins Road has been left in place to serve as a frontage road and for which a new road name needs to be designated; and
WHEREAS, the Grant Township Road District desires the portion of the frontage road from a point 28 feet west of North Benjamin Avenue easterly to a point 120 feet east of North Greenleaf Avenue, be named Old Rollins Road, as depicted on the map attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with 55 ILCS 5/5-1067, the County may name or change the name of any road in the county highway system and may name or change the name of any road in unincorporated areas; and
WHEREAS, by prior resolution, this County Board at its meeting on April 12, 2011, approved the jurisdictional transfer of said frontage road to Grant Township with approval from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the new frontage road created out of the existing Rollins Road, east of Wilson Road, is hereby named Old Rollins Road from a point 28 feet west of North Benjamin Avenue easterly to a point 120 feet east of North Greenleaf Avenue, as depicted on the map attached hereto.
