WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for temporary nursing services for Winchester House; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, Request for Proposals were extended to 35 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received from nine vendors and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on March 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals, Winchester House evaluated all proposals and determined that the proposal submitted by Nurse Express Healthcare, Inc. is the most favorable proposal for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a one year contract with four additional one year renewal options with Nurse Express Healthcare, Inc., Mundelein, IL, for Temporary Nursing Services in the estimated annual amount of $200,000, charged to account #218-4102010-72840.
