· Quentin Road at US Route 12: Village of Kildeer Agreement.
· Quentin Road at US Route 12 will be improved by widening, reconstruction and the installation of three planted medians.
· Two of the landscape medians lie within the Village of Kildeer.
· The Village of Kildeer desires additional median landscape plantings at its cost and will maintain all median landscape for the two landscape medians within the Village.
· This resolution authorizes the execution of an intergovernmental agreement with the Village of Kildeer.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Quentin Road, County Highway 5, is a designated route on the county highway system; and

WHEREAS, in order to ensure the free flow of traffic and the safety and welfare of the motoring public, the County of Lake is desirous of improving the intersection of Quentin Road at Rand Road and Quentin Road from Rue Royale to White Pine Road by widening and reconstruction; and

WHEREAS, this improvement includes the installation of three planted medians; and

WHEREAS, two of the planted medians lie within the Village of Kildeer; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Kildeer desires that the county include as part of the improvement certain perennial plants within the said medians; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Kildeer desires to maintain all landscape within the said medians, with no reimbursement by the County; and

WHEREAS, Lake County and the Village of Kildeer are desirous of entering into an agreement stating the terms and conditions for the installation of two planted medians and maintenance of the said medians landscape, a draft copy of which is attached hereto
