R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lewis Avenue, County Highway 27, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, the pedestrian bridge over Lewis Avenue at Blanchard Road is in need of cleaning and painting; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public and the users of the county pedestrian bridge over Lewis Avenue at Blanchard Road if the pedestrian bridge could be cleaned and painted; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed, and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $90,000 of County Bridge Tax funds for the cleaning and painting of the pedestrian bridge over Lewis Avenue at Blanchard Road, and designated as Section 13-00060-03-BR.
