R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Old McHenry Road, County Highway 32, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois proposes to improve the intersection of Old McHenry Road at US Route 12, by widening and traffic control signal upgrades; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois will utilize federal highway funding for this improvement; and
WHEREAS, the County will reimburse the State of Illinois for its portion of said improvement, estimated to be $3,844; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement for said improvements, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized, and they are directed to execute on behalf of Lake County, an agreement for the improvement at the intersection of Old McHenry Road at US Route 12, and such authorization shall include any subsequent amendments.
