Illinois Department of Public Health, Quality of Life $25,000 - Grant Increase Approval - Kritz

Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) received an increase in grant funding through the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Quality of Life program in the amount of $25,000. The period of performance is July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. The amount requested to be appropriated in LCFY24 is $10,417. The difference has been accounted for in the LCFY25 budget. The purpose of the funding is to support people living with HIV and those at high risk of contracting HIV. This will fund supplies and offset existing staff salary and fringe benefits.

To approve the Illinois Department of Public Health, Quality of Life grant funding increase of $25,000 and emergency appropriate $10,417 for LCFY24.
