•                     FY 2009 Miscellaneous Engineering Services: County Bridge Tax, Matching Tax and Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety Funds: Appropriation

•                     Before engineering for construction can be done utilizing County Bridge Tax, Matching Tax, and Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds a project appropriation is needed.

•                     This resolution appropriates $70,400 of County Bridge Tax, $117,100 of Matching Tax and $102,000 of Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds to provide for miscellaneous engineering services in FY 2009.

Body

                     WHEREAS, Lake County by and through its Division of Transportation maintains 294 centerline miles of designated county highways on the county highway system; and

                     WHEREAS, Lake County by and through its Division of Transportation needs to acquire highway maintenance materials from time to time; and

                     WHEREAS, in order to acquire necessary maintenance materials an appropriation of funds are required for each fiscal year. 

                     NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County that there is hereby appropriated $70,400 of County Bridge Tax funds, $117,100 of Matching Tax funds and $102,000 of Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds for FY 2009 miscellaneous services needed to address soil, environmental, drainage, bridge and wetland concerns and right-of-way purchases during FY 2009 and designated as Section 09-00000-03-BG.
