RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) established a county-wide coalition focused on increasing housing supply (Housing Lake); and
WHEREAS, the initial phase of Housing Lake will end in February 2025; and
WHEREAS, both parties desire to implement the strategies and recommendations formulated through the work of Housing Lake; and
WHEREAS, the County and CMAP have agreed on the Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”), attached hereto outlining the roles and responsibilities of each party for the next phase of Housing Lake.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Lake County and CMAP MOU is hereby approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, this resolution shall be effective as of the date of its adoption.
