•                     2009 Crack Sealing: Appropriation

•                     Each year crack sealing is done to county highways that have recently been resurfaced.

•                     Before a project letting can be held an appropriation of $125,000 of Motor Fuel Tax Funds is necessary. 

Body

                     WHEREAS, in order to preserve the pavement condition of bituminous and concrete pavement on various county highways, the Division of Transportation annually undertakes crack sealing of these pavements; and

                     WHEREAS, a survey of pavement conditions of bituminous and concrete pavement on the county highway system has been completed; and

                     NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $125,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the 2009 crack sealing of bituminous and concrete pavements, where necessary, and designated as Section 09-00000-11-GM.
