· Design engineering costs increased due to change to the Lake County/Village of Grayslake Central Range Transportation agreement involving the County using Village funds for intersection improvements along Peterson Road.
· The county will include the design of the IL Rte. 83/Peterson Road intersection improvement in its current design of the Peterson Road widening (US Rte. 45 to IL Rte. 83).
· This supplemental appropriation of $425,000 from the Matching Tax fund is needed to cover change order #1 which totals $399,636.76.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois by prior resolutions allocated $575,000 of County Capitol Improvement funds for the design engineering service for the improvements to Peterson Road (County Highway 20) from US Rte. 45 to East IL Rte. 83 and designated Section 07-00098-17-WR; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Grayslake now desires that Lake County utilize Village funds for interim improvement to the intersection of Peterson Road at IL Rte. 83 previously earmarked in the County/Village of Grayslake Central Range Transportation Agreement dated April 5, 2005; and
WHEREAS, in order to accommodate said interim improvements to the intersection of Peterson Road at IL Rte. 83, in the County’s improvement of Peterson Road from East of IL Rte. 83 to US Rte. 45, the scope of engineering services for this improvement needs to be expanded and professional right-of-way acquisition services need to be added; and
