Presentation of the water and sewer rates study.
Staff Summary
• A presentation will be made by Director Peter Kolb summarizing the findings of the water and sewer rates and connection fee studies recently completed by the Public Works Department.
• Separate documents have been prepared outlining the methodology and rationale for the basis of recommendations on both the Forecasted Water and Sewer Rate Study prepared by Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP and the Water and Sewer Connection Fee Update prepared by Applied Technologies, Inc.
• The analyses cover the County’s six major service areas for both sanitary sewer and water services including retail and wholesale customers.
• Recommended rate designs for various service types will be covered, as well as recommended connection fee charges.
