Resolution recognizing and commending retired Deputy Greg Reschke for his work in the creation, development, and implementation of the Judicial Sales Division.
Body
WHEREAS, Deputy Reschke was hired in 1981 as a Corrections Officer; and
WHEREAS, through hard work and dedication, he was transferred to Warrants, Court Security, and Civil Process; and
WHEREAS, while working in the Civil Process Division, Deputy Reschke saw how frustrating and troublesome the foreclosure procedure was; and
WHEREAS, he wanted to ease that process for the residents of Lake County; and
WHEREAS, in August of 2009, the first Judicial Sale by the Sheriff's Office was held; and
WHEREAS, since its inception, the Judicial Sales Division has handled over 12,000 cases, while providing a consistent and transparent process for all affected parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County Illinois, that we do in unison recognize and commend retired Deputy Greg Reschke for his work in the creation, development, and implementation of the Judicial Sales Division.
