* The Lake County Department of Public Works owns and operates the Rollins Road Pump Station, which provides sanitary sewer service to residents and businesses in unincorporated Lake County within portions of the Townships of Lake Villa, Avon, and Grant.
* The pump station conveys wastewater to the Northwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility via a 20-inch force main pipe that has reached the end of its service life.
* To ensure continued reliable and effective sanitary sewer service, this force main pipe requires replacement with a more durable and adequately sized pipe.
* The County received bids from four (4) contractors for this work ranging from $2,333,426.30 to $3,514,888 for the combined Base Bid and Alternate #1 Bid for the Rollins Road Force Main Replacement Project.
* The award of this contract is recommended to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Berger Contractors, Inc. of Wauconda, Illinois in the combined Base Bid and Alternate #1 Bid amount of $2,333,426.30.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Department of Public Works owns and operates the Rollins Road Pump Station, which provides sanitary sewer service to residents and businesses in unincorporated Lake County within portions of the Townships of Lake Villa, Avon, and Grant; and
