· This is a four (4) year agreement beginning December 1, 2008 through November 30, 2012
· These employees will receive the same wage increases as non-union employees for December 1, 2009 and reopen the bargaining agreement in subsequent years for the purpose of negotiating wages.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Operating Engineers Local Number 150, has been recognized as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for certain employees in the Lake County Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, a Collective Bargaining Agreement has been negotiated with the Operating Engineers Local 150, as the exclusive representative of certain employees in the Lake County Public Works Department, consistent with the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act; and
WHEREAS, your Financial and Administrative Committee has reviewed and approved said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this the County Board of Lake County, that the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to sign the Collective Bargaining Agreement attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Agreement shall be effective from December 1, 2008 through November 30, 2012 consistent with the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act 5ILCS 315/21.
