RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Board adopted a Resolution amending the fees relating to services provided by the Planning, Building and Development Department and incorporating these fees into one Lake County Land Development Fee Schedule on November 9, 1999; and
WHEREAS, Public Act 104-0458, enacted on January 8, 2026, established a new fee structure for permitting associated with commercial wind, solar, and energy storage systems; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that the Lake County Land Development Fee Schedule be amended in accordance with attached “Exhibit A” to comply with state statute.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Lake County Land Development Fee Schedule is amended in accordance with “Exhibit A” (attached); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Department of Planning, Building and Development shall collect fees for the services rendered by this Department in accordance with the Lake County Land Development Fee Schedule as hereby amended in accordance with “Exhibit A” (attached); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon County Board adoption.
