· Peterson Road, from Illinois Route 83 to Franklin Boulevard, will be improved from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided roadway with concrete pavement, landscaped median, the installation of new traffic signals, the signal interconnection with Lake County PASSAGE, and a bike path on the north side.
· This improvement is included in the 2014 program.
· A total of three bids were received, ranging from $10,833,869.69 to $14,359,849.50, and the lowest responsible bidder is Berger Excavating, Wauconda, Illinois, in the amount of $10,833,869.69.
· This resolution authorizes execution of the contract.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the construction improvement of Peterson Road, from Illinois Route 83 to Franklin Boulevard, and designated as Section 07-00098-17-WR; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication calling for said bid, sealed bids were received and opened on February 18, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:
