R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Cedar Lake Road, County Highway 28, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, to ensure the free flow of traffic and the safety and welfare of the traveling public, Lake County believes it would be beneficial that the culverts on Cedar Lake Road be replaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, and estimate of costs for this improvement have been completed; and
WHEREAS, this project will proceed to a letting and construction is planned to begin in 2022, pending final permit approvals; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $300,000 of County Bridge Tax funds, for the culvert replacements on Cedar Lake Road, and designated as Section 20-00153-12-DR.
