RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Debra Sippio has spent her life helping people, families, and communities, especially those in need, by offering support through mentoring, fitness programs, and academic enhancement; and
WHEREAS, as the Executive Director and Founder of Pathway II NFP, a nonprofit focused on making positive change, Debra has shown a strong and steady commitment to helping others through her leadership and service; and
WHEREAS, as a certified Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Debra is highly skilled in tax law and money management, using her knowledge to help people handle their finances with confidence and honesty; and
WHEREAS, Debra has deepened her dedication to her faith-based service through academic excellence, earning a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary, and is now working toward becoming a pastor to guide others with spiritual leadership and care; and
WHEREAS, she has worked for the IRS for 35 years with dedication and excellence, and is currently serving as the Examination Territory Manager for the Midwestern Small Business Self-Employed Division; and
WHEREAS, over the years, she held many important roles in the IRS, including Revenue Agent, Grand Jury Agent, Expert Witness, Chief of Classification, National Office Program Analyst, and Examination Group Manager; and
WHEREAS, Debra has served her community by being a member of the Waukegan Public Library Board and leading the Genesee Street Neighborhood Watch group, helping to clean up and improve the safety of her neighborhood.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RECOGNIZED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that Debra Sippio, highlighted by Board Vice Chair Mary Ross Cunningham, is recognized for her outstanding commitment to public service, community development, faith leadership, and financial education.
