RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract for pest control of Lake County Buildings; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for pest control of Lake County Buildings; and
WHEREAS, electronic bids were received from five vendors and publicly opened on June 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management, of Elk Grove, Illinois, in the amount of $27,000 is the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management, of Elk Grove, Illinois in the amount of $27,000 and costs for additional needs as budgeted for Pest Control of Lake County Buildings.
