The Health Department received an additional $745,850 in grant funding for the period of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, which has not been previously appropriated because the grant resources were approved after the County’s adoption of the Fiscal Year 2026 budget. This funding is to provide intervention, recovery support, and treatment services to clients and their family members impacted by substance use disorders as well as community intervention services. The grant funds will be administered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the award.

To approve the additional funds from the Illinois Department of Human Services Fixed Rate Substance Use Disorder and Gambling Disorder Grant funding, and emergency appropriate $745,850 for Fiscal Year 2026.
